Corporate Photography For Professionals

While this may not be a masterpiece in terms of blog material, I thought I'd share with you a recent experience shooting with the well known Central London solicitors, Amnesty Solicitors (www.amnestysolicitors.com). The firm are well known for their expertise in Family & Immigration law, so I was pleasured to hear they wanted to work together. It's incredibly complimenting to hear of companies of such calibre trusting me with their photography.

Niamh, the team manager reached out via a social platform and detailed the desire to revamp the companies social presence, including updating their internal systems with imagery to best present their staff. We immediately put together a plan and I met the team in their Liverpool Street offices on a cold Thursday morning with ideas ready to flow. Nino, Martina and Rumi were extremely freindly.

After a warm welcome and entering the room which would be my studio for the duration of my stay, I set up all the necessary lighting and framing equipment after visualising two key photo settings in my head. Despite having a small space to work with, a creative eye can make all the difference and I've learned to look at things as if my eye were the lens. Sounds strange, I know, but when you work around a camera like it's an arm extension, your whole view of life changes.

Enough philosophy, back to work!

After meeting the team (not including organiser Niamh, she was unwell on this occasion. Hopefully we meet in the near future) It was time to get shooting and in short, I had two interior shots set up. One utilising an interesting, multicoloured tile backdrop. A basic scene as subjects would be sat in a chair, however the backdrop itself presented a friendly, warm vibe. The second of the shots being a plain, grey/white backdrop. I felt the two contrasting setups would provide two completely juxtaposing dynamics, allowing the client to have two galleries of content to choose from. I took photos of the team while having a friendly joke filled chat to ensure the facial expressions remain natural and avoid any awkwardness!

After the indoor shots, we headed outside the premises for group shots of the team, displaying their work environment of Liverpool Street, in the fact paced capital, London. After completion, I headed off to another booking I had in the area. My day was particularly busy, but I made sure to as promised, deliver all images within 72 hours, so despite it being a weekend, I sent the final copies within 48 hours, to which everyone was really pleased with.

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed working with this team. They were extremely professional and after receiving feedback, as expected they were extremely happy with the images and manager Niamh has been singing my praises to her business partners. Thank you Niamh and Amnesty solicitors!
